Data & Phone Cabling

Whether you have problems with your existing network installation or data links or require a whole new data installation, MKD is here to help.

Our experienced tradespeople carry all the test equipment necessary for finding faults on your existing telephone lines. If its noise on your phone lines, we can assess if it's the customer problem or if its your service provider and provide written reports. We can repair internal faults on your premises on the spot. So whether you have a problem with your telephone installation or require an expansion to your phone installation, we are here to help.

If your home or office data cabling links are running slow or not at all, we can test with the cable certifier to find the location of the problem and therefore provide the most cost-effective avenue for repair. Using the cable certifier, we can provide a list of test results, which shows each link and its performance. We would recommend that any data installation over five years old have a data cabling audit to analyse its performance.

Some customers supply their own data cabinets; however, we can provide a full range of cabinets from 6RU wall cabinets up to 42RU server cabinets. The larger cabinets can come as flat packs, which we can build on-site for those hard to get areas.

TV Cabling

AT MKD, we can do anything from installing TV points, often referred to as coaxial points, to a complete television surround sound system.

Our service starts with the supply and installation of TV antennas. We are nearly at that point where everyone needs a Digital Antenna installation. Whether it be a replacement TV antenna for an old analogue style or if it's a new property that requires an installation of a digital antenna, MKD can help. An upgrade to digital may often mean you need to replace coax cabling.

For the antenna installations, we do fascia brackets and also masts with tie-wires.

Different antennas are required for different locations. I.e. TV antennas in Sydney will need to be different from TV antennas in Penrith. For this reason, we always recommend that we provide an obligation free Antenna quote to establish any specific obstructions and location issues.
